Lakeland University Japan Launches New Scholarships for 2025
Lakeland University Japan (LUJ) is proud to introduce two new scholarship programs for the 2025–26 academic year, aimed at supporting exceptional students and making quality education more accessible.
JCIS Scholarship
The Japan Council of International Schools (JCIS) Scholarship is open to graduating seniors from JCIS member high schools. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and active participation in their school communities. It offers partial tuition support, helping students pursue higher education in an English-language environment in Japan.
Sumida Area Residents & High School Scholarship
This scholarship targets senior students who either reside in Sumida Ward or attend a MEXT-recognized high school in the area. It rewards students with strong academic potential and community involvement. The scholarship features a tiered system: one full-tuition award, two 50% tuition awards, and three 25% tuition awards, each spanning a four-year term.
LUJ's commitment to educational excellence and community engagement is reflected in these new scholarship opportunities, designed to empower students to achieve their academic and career goals.
