Lakeland University Japan offers an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program which brings focus and attention to various skills needed to study at an American University.
Not only does it prepare one's English skills for the Undergraduate Program but also strengthens the student's "logical thinking" as well as the skills needed for "self expression".
As it is usual in American Education to have classes in which urge students to take part in discussions between the professor as well as fellow peers, every student is able increase their understanding and challenge their skills in their own unique pathway.
Applicants for the EAP Program are assessed base on a system different from that of a standard Japanese application system.
*You will need to provide an Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) report as well as original transcripts for all your previous university study.
※Only documents from educational institutions located outside of the United States must be sent to ECE.
