Organizational Leadership & Development (B.A.)

Students who have successfully completed a B.A. in Organizational Leadership and Development from Lakeland University should be able to:

  • Explain major concepts within functional areas of industry.
  • Construct and present effective oral and written forms of professional communication.
  • Identify key leadership challenges and ethical issues related to the contemporary workplace.
  • Evaluate responsible and effective workplace behaviors, skills, and traits in a professional business environment.

Major Requirements (33-48 semester hours plus approved associate degree)

An approved associate degree plus the following courses:

  • BUS 330 - Management Principles
  • BUS 493 - Leadership and Followership (WI)
  • MKT 350 - Marketing Principles
  • ACC 210 - Financial Accounting Principles

Completion of at least one of the following emphases:

Students completing an available internship course as part of their specific emphasis must complete three (3) semester hours of the internship course.^
