Our Open Campus in June
Thank you to the students and parents who attended our open campus on Sunday, June 16th.
On that day, Ms. Summer Wheerler taught a sample EAP (English for Academic Purposes) class while Mr. Charles Laurier gave a sample undergraduate Introduction to Art History. During these lessons, we enjoyed seeing so many potential students becoming engaged with the class content, and their curiosity helped to make each lesson a rewarding experience.
In addition to our sample classes, several currently enrolled LUJ students gave campus tours in English, Japanese, and Portuguese. They were giving attendees an inside look into campus life at Lakeland.
At all of our open campus events, the staff, faculty, and current students are present. We do this so that you have the opportunity to ask us questions directly. We welcome any questions.
Our next open campus will be held on Sunday, July 21st, with the reception starting at 12:30 pm, and our presentation, sample classes, and tour taking place between 1-4 pm.
