LUJ Hosts the 5th Annual Ambassador's Youth Council

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, LUJ proudly hosted this year's Ambassador's Youth Council (AYC) Conference at Muskie Hall.
The AYC is a youth program organized by the U.S. Embassy, the primary goal being to nurture future generations of diplomats through various discussions and project activities.

For their final project, students were tasked with planning, preparing, and organizing an actual conference.
It was a challenge, but through lectures, discussions, group-centric projects and delegation strategies, the participating students completed their project, presenting their concepts at the event's conclusion.

The AYC conference was centered around two significant topics: Women's Empowerment and Study Abroad Opportunities. LUJ was honored to participate in the event, with several undergraduate students working in groups along with other attendees. LUJ Vice President Dr. Anderson Passos, was one of the speakers at the conference.

Below are a few pictures from the event.
