LUJ Campus at 6F (Muskie Hall)
On September 5 LUJ, in conjunction with the Highbridge Institute, will hold a remote interview with Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, world–renowned economist and professor at Harvard University and Columbia University.
Dr. Sachs served as an advisor to Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev and later to President Boris Yeltsin of Russia, managing economic policies for several European countries, including Poland. He is also the key architect behind the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
He will be sharing some of his perspectives regarding the new world order and provide interesting ideas.
The interview will happen at Muskie Hall. Dr. Sachs will be attending remotely but guests and the host will be at Muskie Hall. We expect some high-profile Japanese politicians to make an appearance as well.
