"Empowering Lives: The Humanitarian Journey of Friedensdorf International", presented by Birgit Stifter and Mara Peppmüller
Friedensdorf International is a Germany-based NGO that provides medical aid to injured and sick children from war-torn zones. Their Director, Ms. Stifter, is coming all the way from Germany and will tell us about their mission and their work.
But this lecture is even more special because her co-presenter, Mara, is a Lakeland student! We have never had a student present or co-present a Lakeland Lecture before--so this is pretty special for many reasons.
