Become A Leader Within The Workplace

This program is ideal for students looking to advance in their careers as a leader within the workplace.

LUJ's Organizational Leadership & Development (B.A.) major can be completed fully at the Tokyo campus, or students can choose to join the Batten & Black School of International Studies to include short- or long-term study abroad at LU Wisconsin.

Curriculum

Students who have successfully completed a B.A. in Organizational Leadership and Development from Lakeland University should be able to:

  • Explain major concepts within functional areas of industry.
  • Construct and present effective oral and written forms of professional communication.
  • Identify key leadership challenges and ethical issues related to the contemporary workplace.
  • Evaluate responsible and effective workplace behaviors, skills, and traits in a professional business environment.

Completion of at least one of the following emphases:

Students completing an available internship course as part of their specific emphasis must complete three (3) semester hours of the internship course.^

    Digital Marketing (12-13 semester hours)

    • A student is not eligible to complete this emphasis if also completing a major in Hospitality Management.
