Eligibility
All LUJ undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of 36 credits at the LUJ campus, and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 2.0, are eligible to join the Batten & Black School of International Studies. Students are not required to complete an A.A. degree prior to continuing their studies at the LUW or VWU campuses.
Timing
If you are choosing a short-term (1-2 semester) program, you can choose any Fall or Spring semester once you have completed the first 36 credits at LUJ. Sophomore, Junior, or Senior years are available for short-term study abroad. You should always check with your LUJ faculty advisor prior to deciding, as courses offered at LUW or VWU may have different timing than LUJ throughout the year.
Students who choose to study abroad for three or more semesters – including a full degree completion – must also first complete a minimum of 36 credits at the LUJ campus. Some majors offered at the LUW or VWU campuses may require more than two years of coursework, so it is recommended to plan your major and the timing of your study abroad early.
Students are NOT required to first complete at A.A. degree before transferring to the LUW or VWU campuses for long-term study abroad or degree completion.
