FOUNDATION COURSES

Course work of a “C” or better in the areas of economics, statistics, finance, and accounting preferred. If no evidence of completed course work is provided, students have the option to complete two courses at the graduate level focusing on economics/statistics and finance/accounting to meet these requirements. Students also have the option to take undergraduate courses to fulfill these requirements.

TRANSFER POLICY

Students may transfer up to nine semester hours of graduate credit from other regionally accredited MBA programs, provided the coursework is relevant to the Lakeland University program, and that a minimum grade of “C” was earned for formal coursework actually taken. These courses must be approved by the MBA program director. Transfer courses must have been taken within 10 years prior to application to the graduate program. Transfer grades will not be included in calculating the applicant’s Lakeland GPA.

REQUIREMENTS

• Typically a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 or a minimum score of 450 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required for admission. However, admissions decisions are made with consideration of the candidate's application in its entirety.
• A written statement of purpose is required, indicating how an MBA educational experience would help the applicant meet professional goals and what leadership or managerial skills the applicant would bring to this program. • Complete application form (including 11,000JPY application fee, non-refundable).
• Two Letters of Recommendation (MBA / MSLOD) indicating the applicant's potential for success in the MBA program and professionally afterward.

However, admissions decisions are made with consideration of the candidate’s application in its entirety. An applicant may apply for conditional admission to the MS-LOD program, with the submission of a cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.5 or a minimum score of 450 on the GMAT. Conditional acceptance is determined by the program director.
