Halloween Fright Nights!!!
Are you all prepared to get your socks scared off!?
Come and enjoy the Halloween season with us on Wednesday and Thursday next week, October 30th and 31st, with a scary movie night!
- The SGA have announced that they will be showcasing the Pixar movie "Coco" before the "Cabin in the Woods" movie on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, from 14:30.
SGA will provide popcorn, drinks, and some hot foods and sandwiches (all free of charge), and prepare to get entertained with "Cabin in the Woods!"
Please join us on October 30th from 14:30 (2:30 PM) in the 6th floor Muskie Hall.
- On Halloween day, SGA will be hosting our very first Haunted House and will also be conducting a Costume Contest on Thursday, October 31st, followed up by another event, the Halloween Grab Bag Challenge!
Also, if you bring your costume/cosplay for a chance to win some great prizes, and to also hang out with our other event afterwards; the Grab Bag Challenge!
The Costume Contest will be divided into three different categories; the scariest, the funniest, and the most well-designed!
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize for each category, so if you are interested in show-casing your specific costume/cosplay, you'll have plenty of opportunities to win!
The challenge will involve students/faculty and staff members to load up a bag of candy/treats, and whoever gets the heaviest bag without breaking/tearing up the bag within the set time-frame, you can win your bag of treats!
The Haunted House will be open from 19:00 (7:00 PM) in the 6th floor Muskie Hall.
All of this will be held while we play in the background the original movie that started it all, John Carpenter's "Halloween," along with Halloween themed music and atmosphere of our Haunted House!
