LUJ students,
Looking for something interesting to be a part of during your break? Join the LUJ Book Club! It looks like you'll be in for a rather interesting read as explained by Dr. Tompkins in the following quote. "We will be reading Yu Miri's new book Tokyo Ueno Station (180 pages) over the August break. It promises to be a good one--a bit of a summer ghost story. Yu Miri is a Zainichi (Korean Japanese) writer who moved to Fukushima prefecture after the 3/11 tsunami and nuclear disaster. Fukushima and Tokyo, both past and present, figure into the story; though we will have to read the story to figure out why a ghost is lurking in Ueno Station."
