Ming-Shan Lin is an Adjunct Professor of Chinese at LUJ since 2014. Ms. Lin was born in Taiwan. She received her MA in the School of Chinese as a Second Language of Peking University in 2012. Ms. Lin is also a Ph.D. candidate in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at the same school. From 2010, she had taught Chinese at National Taiwan University (CLD), Harvard Summer Program in Beijing (HBA), and Duke University (Department of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies).
Ms. Lin’s research interests include teaching Chinese to foreigners, Chinese teaching materials, and teaching Chinese to Chinese heritage students. Ms. Lin is a member of The Japan Association of Chinese Language Education(中国語教育学会 ).
Ms. Lin enjoys learning Chinese together with students and likes connecting teaching to student’s life experiences. She likes bubble tea and singing with her daughter.
