授業欠席連絡について・Notification of Absence
レイクランド大学ジャパン・キャンパスはアメリカ本校と同様に、授業の出欠連絡の取り次ぎは基本的には行っておりません。病気などで欠席する場合は、学生本人が担当教授にメールなどで報告し、復帰後に学生本人が担当教授と話し合いをする必要があります。英語研修課程の出席に関する詳しい基準は担当教授より学期はじめに配られるシラバス及びEAP HANDBOOKを参照してください。教養課程の遅刻・欠席時の扱いは教授により異なります。担当教授にご確認・ご相談ください。
LUJ will not relay a notification of absence to instructors on behalf of students as per main campus policy. If any student must miss a class, it is their responsibility to contact the instructor initially by email regarding the absence and again in person following their return to school. For a detailed attendance policy covering the EAP program, please refer to the syllabus, which is distributed by instructors at the beginning of each course or the EAP Handbook. Academic students should confirm the attendance policy with each instructor as they may vary.
メンター・スカラシップのご案内・Mentor Scholarship
メンター・スカラシップは、在校生・同窓生の皆様やそのご家族よりご近所やお知り合いの方にLUJをご紹介いただき、受験され入学された場合は、その方の在学期間中ご紹介者の方がメンターとなって引き続き支援する制度です。ご紹介者の方には、教育支援金として入学者１名につき５万円を授与させていただき、被推薦者（受験生）には受験料の返還を行うものです。URLよりオンラインでのお申し込みが可能です（英語のページに移動します）。
Under the Mentor Scholarship, any current student or alumni who refers a potential student to LUJ for application and who is in turn successfully enrolled will continue to support them as a mentor. The mentor is eligible for receiving 50,000 yen per enrolled student as an educational support expense, and the mentee (the applicant) is eligible for a refund of the application fee.
