Eric Ritter is an Adjunct professor of Economics at Lakeland University Japan. He started teaching Economics since 2018. He has a Master’s degree from Columbia University in New York in International Affairs. Though he grew up outside New York city, he started off his career as an analyst in Hong Kong for the Pacific Rim Consulting group where he analyzed Asia economies. He later moved to Barings Securities Singapore where he was the economist responsible for Singapore and Malaysia. Subsequently he became a fund manager for 20 years in Chicago, Hong Kong and Tokyo analyzing and investing in Asian markets. In 2016, he started teaching business and coaching executives in their English communication skills. In his spare time, he likes to play tennis and listen to jazz. .
