Safety and Security
We are proud to provide professional and courteous service to the Lakeland Japan students, faculty and staff by providing a safe and secure environment in which to learn, grow and enjoy the campus community.
The Lakeland University Japan campus is equipped with first-aid kits in each building and an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). Basic first-aid and emergency contact manuals are located next to each first aid kit, providing students with clear instructions on how to react and who to contact in the event of an emergency.
All first-aid and emergency contact procedures are reviewed with students during their New Student Orientation. PDF copies of the manual, as well as additional emergency contact numbers, are provided on the LUJ website.

|Fire, Earthquake Safety|
Safety and evacuation procedures for both fire and earthquakes are also covered with all students during their New Student Orientation. Official manuals, instructions and evacuation maps can be found in the Student Handbook as well as on the college website. In addition, fire extinguishers and alarms are located near the stairway of every floor throughout the LUJ campus.
